Supporting independent teams building open, decentralized tooling and public infrastructure.
Overview
The Web3 Builders Grant funds early-stage teams shipping open-source tooling, developer infrastructure and protocol utilities that make decentralized technology easier to build with. Awards are milestone-based and paid against a delivery plan agreed at onboarding.
Objectives
- Expand open developer tooling for decentralized applications
- Improve reliability and accessibility of public infrastructure
- Support underrepresented builder communities worldwide
Eligibility
- Applicant must be 18 years or older
- Individuals, teams and registered organizations may apply
- Project must be in active development with a public roadmap
- One active application per applicant per cycle
Requirements
- Detailed project description and delivery milestones
- Clear breakdown of how requested funds will be used
- Evidence of prior work or a working prototype
